We were part of BBC Proms first ever Relaxed Prom!

The BBC’s first ever Relaxed Prom is suitable for children and adults with autism, sensory and communication impairments and learning disabilities as well as individuals who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind and partially sighted.

After playing alongside the BBC National Orchestra of Wales https://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcnow/events and Andy the music man http://www.andypidcock.com/ on the stage at the Royal Albert Hall, myself, other staff members and the children of Ysgol Ty Coch www.ysgoltycoch.co.uk joined the rest of the audience to enjoy the remainder of the Relaxed Prom (@BBCProms #RelaxedProm).

I looked around me at the smiling faces of the other audience members and I thought, how privileged I am to be a part of something so special and so amazing.

Thank you to everyone involved in this event, I believe I can say with confidence that this was an experience none of us will ever forget!
